Gmktec has officially launched the M6 Ultra mini PC in the Chinese market. The device will go on sale from August 19 with a barebone version available at a promotional price of 1499 yuan ($210). The 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD model is listed at 1999 yuan ($280), while the 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD version is priced at 2499 yuan ($350).
Gmktec M6 Ultra Specifications
The M6 Ultra has a compact body measuring 128.8 × 127 × 47.8 mm. It runs on the AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS processor based on the Zen 4 architecture and built on TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU comes with six cores and twelve threads, a boost clock up to 5.0 GHz, and 22 MB of combined cache. It operates at a configurable 50W TDP to deliver stable performance for multitasking and demanding applications.
Coming to the graphics, the mini PC integrates AMD Radeon 760M GPU with RDNA 3 architecture. The GPU features eight cores clocked up to 2600 MHz. Gmktec claims the GPU matches Nvidia’s GTX 1650 Ti. Benchmark tests show Forza Horizon 5 running at 65-96 FPS on medium settings, Genshin Impact at 54-68 FPS, and Cyberpunk 2077 at 47-63 FPS on low settings. The Witcher 3 averages between 40-68 FPS.
The mini PC supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM at 4800 MT/s through two SO-DIMM slots. Storage expansion is available via dual M.2 PCIe 3.0 ×4 SSD slots with support for up to 8 TB capacity per drive. Gmktec has added a tool-free quick-release system to make upgrades easier.
In terms of cooling, the system uses a dual-fan setup, with one fan dedicated to the CPU and the other ensuring airflow for SSDs and memory. The setup improves thermal stability and reduces noise during extended use.
The M6 Ultra provides dual 2.5G Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. It also includes a USB 4.0 port with 40 Gbps transfer speed, 100W PD input, and external GPU dock support. Additional ports include HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Gen2, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The system supports triple-display output up to 8K resolution.
